“I am the former Co-Chair for the Trump Campaign in the 9th District. I brought home some of the highest percentages of support for our President throughout the state and nation. I am a former elected Commonwealth’s Attorney and former Special Assistant United States Attorney for the WDVA. While serving in the Commonwealth position I filed more criminal indictments in my 4 years than the 8 years prior to me. I am a wife and a mother to three wonderful (ages 16, 15, and 12). I helped establish, with my husband, the Tazewell County Civil Defense League, akin to a militia, but much broader. We did so in preparation for the failed leftist policy coming out of Governor Northam and the Legislature last year, particularly all the troubling 2A restrictions. I helped fund and organize transport up to Richmond for a busload of 2A supporters for last year’s Lobby Day Rally. I filed suit against Governor Northam to fight his ban on firearms on the Capitol grounds at that Rally. In all matters I hold dear, I am a tireless worker and diehard advocate. I am a graduate of Rice University. I received my law degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder (where I arrived a moderate Republican and left a conservative warrior). I received my Masters in Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. My Master’s Thesis was on the subject of School Choice.”

Why you?

“Issues such as 2A, life beginning at conception, and individual freedom are all key issues for me personally and, as such, are the center of my campaign. I’m running against others who will all likely also support these issues in words. My distinction is that I back my words up with actions. Without being an elected, or a party member, I took action as a private citizen last year to find a donor and organize a busload to join the 2019 Lobby Day. I personally turned the tide in my county to ensure that we joined the 2A Sanctuary counties movement. I helped establish the Tazewell County Civil Defense Committee and provide a legal road map for other counties in Virginia to do the same. As an attorney, I filed suit against Governor Northam to stop his ban on firearms on the grounds at that Lobby Day. I am a committed patriot and I back up what I say with actions.”

What are your priorities?

The 38th District is largely a safe Republican seat, for the moment. In addition to serving the needs of the people in the district, I believe it is our duty here in the 38th to be leading the charge in the legislature to take back our lost ground in this state. We should be trumpeting conservative issues, like Pro-Life, 2A, economic freedom and others. We should be pushing back. It should not matter what the balance of power is in the legislature. A cause not even fought for is already lost. I want to lead that effort and see more bills, more publicly brought, in order to fight the blue, socialism creep that is coming across our state.
