Structured Interview Completed: Pending
Biography: I’ve had an exemplary military career, serving as a 22-year Army veteran. I’ve completed six combat deployments, three in Iraq and three in Afghanistan, and numerous overseas engagements. I spent five years serving as a national security advisor and legislative liaison, working closely with policy experts in the US House of Representatives, US Senate, and the Pentagon to pass legislation that enhances national security, supports Gold Star families, and protects the welfare of veterans. I’m also a small business owner of the MIL-VETS Mobile Business App, which helps veterans and transitioning service members find quick access to needed medical and business services. I have a master’s degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University, a master’s degree in IT Project Management, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
Why you? I’m the most experienced and qualified candidate for this office. I have extensive experience in areas of government in most desperate need in 2024. I was born and raised in South Texas near the Rio Grande Valley as a Mexican American and worked through the broken immigration system as an adult to make my wife Veronica a naturalized citizen. I can speak authentically to Virginians of all backgrounds and ethnicities about the dangers of our current open border. As a military veteran with six combat deployments who has commanded troops in warzones and worked on a 4-star General staff, I have real-world first-hand experience of the failed foreign policies of the last 22 years and can speak authentically to the 770,000 veterans in Virginia to beat Tim Kaine. As a National Security Legislative Advisor to Congressman Trent Kelly and as a Legislative Liason for the US Army, I have experience writing federal legislation and working through committee staff to pass legislation and understand the work that is necessary to truly be an advocate for conservative legislation.
What are your priorities?
1. Securing the Border
2. Passing Universal School Choice to empower parents to homeschool and help them raise well-adjusted and educated children.
3. Eliminating Taxes on all retirement to help seniors retire with dignity.
4. Passing an All-American Energy Plan that puts millions of Americans to work, lowers the cost of energy, and ends our reliance on Middle Eastern oil and Chinese minerals.
5. Keeping America out of endless wars.

What is the most important thing Virginians need to know about you? I’m not part of the political class and have no desire to be. I’m the son of a ranch hand who cares about making the lives of working-class, blue-collar Virginians better by taking on the DC lawyers, lobbyists, and consultants and doing the work necessary to build a coalition across the commonwealth to beat Tim Kaine.
How would your friends and family describe you?
Hard-working
Sincere
Focused
Determined
What are your thoughts on the Constitution as the Law of the Land? The Constitution is the Law of the Land. I have sworn to support and defend it for over two decades and will continue to all the days of my life.
What are your thoughts on religious liberty? The Constitution states clearly the Congress shall make no law prohibiting the free exercise religion and I will fight to ensure that government at all levels stays our of our houses of worship and does not use its power to coerce or target people of faith.
What are your thoughts on the preservation of our history? I believe all of American should be taught accurately, specifically the horrific atrocities that the Democrat party has historically inflicted on the vulnerable.
What are your thought on government transparency? Government transparency is essential because it promotes accountability, trust, and integrity in the decision-making process. By allowing citizens to access information about how their government operates, they can hold their leaders accountable for their actions and decisions. It also helps to prevent corruption and abuse of power, which ultimately strengthens democratic institutions.
What are your thoughts on national defense? A strong national defense is essential to safeguard a country’s sovereignty and protect its citizens from external threats. It ensures that a country can effectively respond to any security challenges that may arise and maintain peace and stability. A robust military is also crucial in deterring potential aggressors and promoting diplomatic relations with other nations, but shouldn’t be used as an excuse to involve America in endless wars.
What are your thoughts on the free enterprise system? The free enterprise system promotes innovation, competition, and economic growth. It allows individuals to pursue their own economic interests, which in turn drives entrepreneurship and creates jobs. It also encourages efficiency and quality, as businesses must provide goods and services that meet the demands of consumers in order to survive.
What are your thoughts on the protection of the unborn? The measure of nation is how its treats its most vulnerable such as the unborn. I will fight to expand maternity care, increase pro-life crisis pregnancy centers and adoption services.
What are your thoughts on the role the family plays in America? The nuclear family provides a stable foundation for children to grow and learn important values, such as respect, responsibility, and independence. It also provides emotional support and a sense of belonging, which are crucial for individual well-being and social cohesion.
What are your thoughts on equal rights, equal justice and equal opportunity, as opposed to equal outcomes? I believe in equality of opportunity not of outcomes. Government has a role to ensure everyone rights are equally protected but not to favor one particular group over another.
What are your thoughts on the 2nd Amendment? The US Constitution states that the Rights to bear arms shall not be infringed and I stand with the Constitution. I am also against all red flag laws and in favor of constitutional carry.
