Biography: I was born in Arlington to my parents, Tim and Mary. My father is a retired Alexandria Deputy Sheriff, and my mother is a Catholic School principal. My parents instilled in me from an early age the values of honesty, leadership, and service. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006, and accepted a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. I proudly served for ten years, where my primary military occupational specialty was as an F/A-18D Weapons Systems Officer. After serving around the world and back again, my family and I decided to return to Virginia. I separated from the Marines in 2016 and currently work as a financial advisor. Here, I’ve transferred the leadership and problem solving skills developed in the Marines to the everyday, kitchen table issues which affect my clients. I have been married to my wife, Nikki, since 2010. We have a son, Cameron, who is currently in the second grade at Kyle Wilson Elementary.

Why you? I’m running because I want to fix the mess created by career politicians in Richmond, and restore trust and confidence in our state government. I have a unique understanding of how our economy works and how decisions in Richmond directly impact decisions Virginia families make every day; especially in the wake of the pandemic. I believe in responsive government, and I am capable of explaining issues to individuals which make them understand and feel like they’re being listened to. I will be an advocate for a more efficient and effective state government, so that we can rebuild our economy, get our children back to school, and get our businesses back to full capacity.

What are your priorities?
-Getting our children back to school five days a week.
-Promote free market ideals which benefit all businesses and allow individuals to achieve their dreams.
-Protecting our Constitutional rights against government encroachment.

What is the most important thing Virginians need to know about you? I’ve dedicated my life to service, and I will continue to be a servant to Virginians. I want government to get our of our way, so that Virginians can be as successful as I know we can be.

How would your friends and family describe you? Straightforward, funny, focused. If I’m given a task I will work like hell to get it done ahead of time and at a high standard. Willing to learn, and more importantly to listen. I like being challenged, and I love being told something is too hard and can’t be done.
